About Us

At OPAL (Oman Petroleum Alliance), we are committed to elevating Oman's Energy Industry to world-class standards. Established on October 27, 2001, under the Ministry of Social Development, OPAL is the leading business society for the Oil & Gas sector in Oman. Our mission is to foster collaboration among industry leaders, promote best practices, and enhance the competencies and professionalism of our members.

We strive to be the foremost facilitator in aligning stakeholder objectives and addressing common industry challenges. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to create a sustainable and internationally competitive energy sector that excels in the management of Hydrocarbons and Renewable Energy.

Our key priorities include Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards, human resources development, and the promotion of ethical work practices. Over the past two decades, we have successfully facilitated the training and employment of thousands of Omanis, contributing significantly to the nation's workforce.
